Dominic P. DiArcangelo of West Chester
Dominic P. DiArcangelo, 96 of West Chester, died Sunday December 2, 2018 at the Hickory House in Honey Brook.
He was the husband of the late Dora Gaspari DiArcangelo.
Born April 2, 1922 in West Chester, PA he was the son of the late Giolindo DiArcangelo and the late Elizabeth Cartoggio DiArcangelo.
He was a proud WWII Army Veteran who stormed the Normandy beaches during the D-Day Invasion. He received many medals and commendations for his service.
Dom was a lifelong resident of West Chester and a life member of St. Agnes Church. He was co-owner of the West Chester International Trucking Company and later worked at the Recorder of Deeds at the Chester County Court House.
Dom was a member of the VFW Post 106 and past commander, past president of the former Italian Social Club, member of the Sons of Italy Guido Baccelli Lodge 687. He enjoyed sketching and painting.
Dom is survived by his son, Bruce DiArcangelo, Sr; grandchildren Bruce DiArcangelo, Jr., and Gina DiArcangelo; and a brother, Arthur DiArcangelo.
Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 9:30- 10:00 am at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 am.
Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery West Chester PA.
