Dolores Sue Gemma

Dolores Sue Gemma, 67 of Frazer, PA passed away Wednesday March 26, 2025 at Paoli Hospital.

She was the wife of Louis J. Gemma.

Born November 26, 1957 in West Chester, PA she was the daughter of the late James Robert Barry Sr. and the late Dolores Lessig Ellis.

Dolores grew up in West Chester, PA  and graduated from West Chester East High School the class of 1975.

She worked as an Analyst for Siemens/Cerner in Malvern, PA for 23 years and before that she worked at the Chester County Hospital in the business office for over 20 years.

Sue was a life member of the VFW Post 106 Auxiliary.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sue also enjoyed taking a nap on Sunday afternoons, while an Eagles or Phillies games were on.

In addition to her husband, Sue is survived by her sons Andrew Barry and Michael Gemma; her grandchildren Riley Kirby-Barry (Raven), Melissa Gemma, Megan Gemma, Kaia Barry, Michael Gemma, Jr., Amelia Barry, Ada Barry, Anderson Barry and Atleigh Barry; great grandson Ari Kirby-Barry; her siblings Nancy Pinkerton, Laura Goslin, Jamie Barry and Jennifer Ford (Tom); nieces and nephew Sara Bittle (Chase), Matthew Ford and Melinda Ford; great nephew Hunter Bittle; and her aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by…her parents, step-father Samuel Ellis, step-mother Marion Barry, her maternal & paternal grandparents, her brother-in-law Russell Pinkerton & sister-in-law Shirley Barry and many aunts & uncles.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 N. Church St.  West Chester, PA 19380, followed by her Graveside Service at 12:30 am at Grove Methodist Cemetery 490 W. Boot Rd. West Chester PA 19380
