Obituary

Diane Pambianco was born on July 2, 1948, in St Neots, United Kingdom, following her parents’ journey from Poland. When she was eight years old, she immigrated to the United States with her parents, Maria and Mateusz Bialowas, and her brother, Christopher, traveling aboard the R.M.S. Franconia on its final voyage. The family initially settled in the Nicetown section of Philadelphia before moving to Roxborough, where Diane graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School. She became a naturalized American citizen at the age of fifteen

Diane shared 52 years of devoted marriage with her husband, James. After settling in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, they built a life together raising their family and creating a warm and welcoming home. She was a loving mother to her children, Cheryl and Gregg, and a proud grandmother to her granddaughter, Rosemarie, who brought her great joy. Family was always at the center of Diane’s life, and she showed her love through steady presence and deep loyalty.

When her children started school, Diane volunteered at the school library and took great pride in supporting her son’s school music programs, generously giving her time and energy as a parent volunteer. Diane always encouraged her children to explore activities they loved and attended every function and performance, from school programs through college. She helped co-author a band booster cookbook titled Cooking on a High Note.

Diane formed lifelong friendships with many people. On their honeymoon, she and James met a couple from Georgia, and through the years they shared trips back and forth to each other’s homes. Diane enjoyed playing Bunco and cherished her friendship with a group known as the “Bunco Babes.” She loved to prepare food and host gatherings, always welcoming others with a generous spread; family and friends often remarked how excited they were to enjoy dishes she made, including Polish specialties she learned from her mother.

After surviving brain surgery for an aneurysm in 2000, Diane was grateful for every day she lived and later devoted herself to caring for her aging mother.

Diane is survived by her husband, James; her children, Cheryl and Gregg; her daughter-in-law, Megan; her granddaughter, Rosemarie; her brother, Christopher Bialowas; his wife, Pearl Bialowas; her niece, Dr. Christie Bialowas; her godson and nephew, Matthew Bialowas; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at St. Elizabeth Church 120 St. Elizabeth Dr. Chester Springs, PA 19425, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.

Interment will be private.
