Obituary

Diana Stull, 86 of West Chester, PA passed away Friday April 4, 2025 at the Pocopson Home in West Chester.

Born August 18, 1938, in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Arthur F. Stull and the late Dolores Evelyn Rech Stull.

Diana was a 1956 graduate of West Catholic Girls High School. She they went Maria Regina College, graduating in 1965 and joined the Sisters of the Third Order Franciscan MC in Syracuse NY. After joining the order, Diana attended Syracuse University where she earned her master’s degree in both theology and clinical social work. 

Diana worked for many years as a social worker and in 2003 she returned to West Chester to be closer to her family. Being back in West Chester, she began working as a social worker at the St. John Vianney Center. In 2015 she retired from the social services field. 

Diania’s vocation of helping others continued to shine through her service as a Stephen Minister at the Daylesford Abbey and a companion at the St. Francis Community in Aston, PA. 

As an avid traveler, she loved traveling to Hawaii, family trips to the Outer Banks. To celebrate her 70th birthday, a trip to Ireland was very special. 

Diana loved music, reading and playing games. 

She is survived by her sister, Dolores "Lori" E. Tygielski, brother, Francis B. (Cecelia) Stull, 14 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by her sister, Joan C. O'Connor (Arthur), brother, William F. Stull (Madeline), and brother-in-law, Robert J. Tygielski.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at the St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380 followed by her Funeral Mass at 11am. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery West Chester PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Willow Tree Hospice, 415 McFarlan Road Suite 104 Kennett Square, PA 19348.
