David Clark Wilson

David C. Wilson, 82, died peacefully on Tuesday August 21, 2024 at his home in West Chester, PA.

He was born September 14, 1941 in West Chester and was the son of Harry and Grace Wilson.

Dave graduated from West Chester High School in 1959

He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in West Chester.

Dave worked for Denny Tag Company in West Chester for many years until they closed, then worked at Le-Jo Enterprises, and instead of retiring he worked for Zoetis in Frazer as a night watchman until he retired in 2020.

He was an avid sports fan and loved playing baseball.

Dave served in the Army from 1966 to 1969. Fulfilled a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967.

He was a member of the F&AM Masonic Lodge #322 in West Chester, the VVA (Veterans of Vietnam Association) in Spring City, the VFW Post 106 in West Chester, and the American Legion #602 in Spring City.

Dave was preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years Laura Wilson, and his parents Harry and Grace Wilson

He is survived by his son Donald Wilson and his wife Tere, niece Samantha White (who always had time to call and visit her Uncle Dave), and his best friend Carol Borelly.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 11:00 am - 11:45 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380, with a Masonic Ceremony at 11:45 am, followed by his Funeral Service at 12:00 pm.

Interment will be private.
