David A. Ray of Phoenixville.

David A. Ray, 64 of Phoenixville, PA died Wednesday March 21, 2018 at home.

Born February 16, 1954 in Wilmington, DE he was the son of Horace “Buddy” Ray and the late Patricia Kimes Ray.

David was born in Wilmington, DE and grew up in West Chester, PA. He attended the University of Georgia and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs Football Fan. After living in Atlanta, GA for some time, he moved back to West Chester. He then helped raise a family in Malvern and later settled in Phoenixville.

He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, skiing, carpentry and his animals.  He was also a devoted supporter of the men and women of the Military.

In addition to his father, David is survived by his children Collin Ray and his wife Devon, Patrick Ray, Sandra Ray, Christopher Ray, siblings Lisa Larsen, Francis "Howie" Ray, Gary Ray, Alyson Ray Rutberg and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation from 12:00-1:00pm on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com; followed by his Memorial Service at 1:00pm.          

Interment will be private.
