David “Dog” Boyle, 69 of West Chester, PA, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020, at Chester County Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Kim V Boyle, his son Daniel Boyle, his daughter Kelli Kienzle (Chris) two grandchildren, Kennedy and Dakota, and his brother Tom Boyle.
Born, March 31, 1951, in West Chester, PA, he is the son of the late Thomas A. Boyle and Anne Monahan Boyle.
David attended West Chester University and then pursued a law enforcement career and served as a police officer. He started his career in West Chester, became a Sergeant in West Goshen, and then worked as a Detective for Chester County. He went on to Willistown Township Police Department, where he became a Sergeant and worked as a detective. Dave retired after 38 years in law enforcement.
He loved spending time with his family and friends. Over the years, he enjoyed boating and traveling. "Meow" he had a unique and special way of looking at life. And anyone that knew or met him could tell you a “Boyle” story that would make you laugh.
A small private service will be held with a larger celebration, to honor the "Dog," announced at a later date and time.
