Born October 27, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of Pasquale Bova and Melba Meriano Bova and big brother to Carol Anne Nalence. He grew up in Philadelphia graduating from Overbrook High School and enrolled in the Philadelphia Wireless Technical Institute. After graduating, he took a position at WCAU/AM Radio in Philadelphia and moved to TV Broadcasting as an audio engineer. David’s passions were his family and friends, spending time in his Outer Banks home, collecting Texaco Trucks and memorabilia and all the special dogs and cats that had become his close companions. His tireless interest and curiosity about people left him with a legion of friendships throughout the years.
