Cheryl Gayle Doran

Cheryl Gayle Doran, loving mother and grandmother, passed away on October 21, 2024 at the age of 65. 

Cheryl was born in Philadelphia and raised in Havertown, Pennsylvania.  After graduating from Muhlenberg College, she moved to Malvern, Pennsylvania to raise her family.  After devotedly raising her two daughters, she went on to have a successful career in the real estate industry for over thirty years.

She is survived by her beloved children, Jennifer (David) DiRusso and Rachel Doran, her cherished grandchildren, Alexandra DiRusso, David DiRusso, Jr. and Matthew DiRusso, her dear siblings, Michael Lassoff and Michelle Harbold, and her many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Lassoff and Marlene Lassoff.  

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Kesher Israel Congregation, 1000 Pottstown Pike, West Chester, PA.  Burial will immediately follow at Haym Salomon Memorial Park in Malvern, PA. 

Shiva will be held at her daughter’s house, 20 Plum Circle, Phoenixville, PA on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
