Charles R. Malin, Jr.

Charles R. Malin, Jr., 80 of West Chester, PA passed away Saturday May 3, 2025 at the Chester County Hospital in West Chester.

He was the husband of the late Brenda W. Malin.

Born September 1, 1944 in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Charles R. Malin Sr. and the late Erma Fulton Malin.

Charles grew up in West Chester, PA and graduated from West Chester Senior High School class of 1962. He spent more than 50 years as a supervisor at Lenape Forge, overseeing the operations of the Forge Shop. In his free time, he was passionate about art, enjoying both painting and drawing. He also enjoyed coaching LAFA and watching sports.

He was a lifetime member of the Fame Fire Company and a major contributor to the establishment of the Fame Fire Museum. He was also a long-time member of 18 years at the Elks club in West Chester. 

Charles is survived by his children Chuckie R. Malin III, Tara S. Conway (late husband Patrick) and Tami M. Enders (Christian); grandchildren Luke, Lyla and Tess Enders, Kenny & Seamus Conway; great-grandchild Teagan Rae Eichenauer and sister Elaine Chambers (Tom). He was predeceased by his son Micheal (Toad) Malin.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 9:00 am - 10:45 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380; followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

Interment will be in Green Mount Cemetery West Chester, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
