Charles P. Green

Charles Patrick Green, aged 75, formerly of Ambler, PA and San Jose, CA., passed away at his Kennett Square home on Thursday, May 13, 2021.

Charlie was born in Philadelphia, PA, the son of the late Charles and Mary (Dixon) Green.

Husband of Betty Jo (George) and father of John (Karen Lang), Joseph (Brianne Bazzini), Carolyn Cheek (Allen) and Eric Huboi. He was grandfather of Christopher and Lauren Green, Maverick, Gunnar and Bodey Green, Chelsea, Chloe and Clairessa Cheek and great grandfather to Adalie. He is also survived by his sister, Kathleen (Green) Redrup and cousin, John Bradley (Alicia Rodgers).

He was pre-deceased by his brother John (Nancy Castner).

Charlie graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School, Villanova University and the University of Pennsylvania. He was a mechanical engineer who worked for GE, Lockheed, and ESL after which he started his own company, Sierra Concepts.

He enjoyed woodworking, tinkering with cars and other items, and working outside in his yard. He pushed others to always think - understand why something may be happening or is there a better way.

Service and Interment will be private.
