Catharine A. McCarter

Catharine A. (Burke) McCarter, 86 of West Chester, died on 8/10/21, in Chester County Hospital.  

She was the wife of the late Paul S. McCarter Jr.  

Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter the late James and Sarah Burke.

She was a graduate of St. Agnes High School in West Chester, Class of 1953, and was a member of SS. Simon and Jude Church in Westtown. She was retired from Shop-Rite in West Chester.

Survived by her children, Mark (Diane), Brian (Anita), Lori, and her grandchildren: Alyssa, Dominic, Monika, Neil and Nolan. Also survived by her nephews, Stephen Stefanski, Christopher Cecere, Matthew McCarter, Andrew McCarter and nieces, Paula Crooks, Amanda McCarter, as well as, great nieces and a great nephew.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation from 10:00 am to 10:45 am Friday August 20, 2021 at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St., West Chester, PA 19380 followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.

Interment in St. Agnes Cemetery.
