Caroline R. Thomas

Caroline R. Thomas, 94 of West Chester, PA died Friday August 25, 2023 at Chester County Hospital in West Chester.

She was the wife of the late John P. Thomas.

Caroline & John were married on October 20, 1956 at St. Agnes Church in West Chester, PA. They enjoyed a loving marriage for 34 years until his passing in 1990. 

Born December 30, 1928 in West Chester, PA she was the daughter of the late Gaetano Raschiatore and the late Elvira Tuburzio Raschiatore.

Caroline grew up in West Chester and graduated from West Chester High School in 1947. She worked at Wyeth Laboratory and later as a Real Estate Agent.

Caroline was a member of St. Agnes Church.

She enjoyed playing bridge and visiting Cape May, New Jersey, but above all, she was devoted to her family.

Caroline is survived by her children, Linda A. Thomas, Chris H. Thomas, and his wife Susan, John P. Thomas Jr.; grandchildren, Don, Amy, Michael (Colette), Brian and Kelly Thomas; great grandchildren Madelynn, Abigail and Addison Thomas, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Faustina Vinciguerra, Anthony Raschiatore, Viola Raschiatore, Marge Guillo, Bette Travaglini and John R. Raschiatore.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

Interment will be in Oaklands Cemetery West Chester PA.
