Carol Cochran Obituary

Carol Lee Cochran, 63 of Chadds Ford, passed away on December 23, 2019.

She was born March 13, 1956 in Chester, PA and grew up in Thornton, PA with her parents, the late John D. Cochran and the late Edna M. Cochran and two sisters. Since then she has lived in Texas, Delaware and settled back in Chadds Ford, PA where she lived until her death. 

Carol attended Bishop Shanahan High School later transferring to Henderson High School. She received an Associate Degree at Delaware County Community College and later went back to school to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from Immaculata University as a Computer Programmer. 

She loved to travel especially to beach locations including Hawaii, Bahamas and several Caribbean islands, along with several cruise ship vacations. She liked boating, fishing, jewelry making, knitting, crocheting and was an excellent cook. She was loved by so many family and friends and will be missed very much. Love you forever Tigerpaw.

Carol is survived by her two sisters, Joan D. (James) Bogush and Ann Marie Thompson; nieces, Laurie Purcell, Chrisy Thompson and great niece, Riley Purcell.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 10:30am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Rd. Glen Mills, PA 19342.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231.
