Bridget Catherine Mitchell

Bridget Catherine Mitchell, 78 years old of West Chester, PA passed away Saturday August 2, 2025 at West Chester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center West Chester, PA.

She was the wife of the late Malachy Mitchell.

Born February 4, 1947 in Mulingar County Sligo, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Dwyer and the late Theresa McGill Dwyer.

Bridget grew up in Mulingar and graduated from Gurteen Secondary School. She studied general subjects and culinary arts.

Primarily a homemaker, she also worked as a private nurse helping many elderly patients.

Bridget was a member of St. Max church.

She enjoyed family and friends, putting her family first, cooking, homemaking, Irish tea, gardening, shopping and a good breakfast. She also loved her grandchildren

Bridget is survived by her sons, Malachy, Shawn and Stephen Mitchell; grandchildren, Fallon, Logan and Maddux Mitchell; siblings in Ireland and here in the States; many cousins, nephews and nieces. She will be missed by anyone who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church 15 East Pleasant Grove Rd West Chester, PA 19382; followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.

Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery West Chester PA.
