Obituary

Brian A. Wirth, 68 of Phoenixville, PA died Monday August 21, 2023 at the Pottstown Hospital.

Born August 31, 1954 in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Richard A. Wirth and the late Mary C. Riepensell Wirth.

Brian grew up in Drexel Hill and graduated from Upper Darby High School and attended Penn State University.

For many years Brian was a nurse’s aide, working at Pocopson Home.

Brian was known for his love of history, music, and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Brian was a caring and thoughtful person, and enjoyed getting together with family for holidays and celebrations.

He is survived by his stepmother, Joan Wirth; brother Lawrence A. Wirth, and his wife Mary; brother Richard O. Wirth; nieces Jennifer Wirth, and Katherine Folkman, and her husband Teddy.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Graveside Service on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 11:00 am SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery 1600 S. Sproul Road Springfield PA 19064. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sanatoga Center C/O Business Office, 225 Evergreen Road Pottstown, PA 19464.
