Obituary
Brian Stephen Alkon, 77 of Wayne, PA died Saturday April 29, 2023, at Paoli Hospital.
He was the husband of Maxine G. Alkon (Mathias).
Born January 9, 1946, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Stanley Alkon and the late Julia Florence Bryan Alkon.
Brian grew up in Rosemont, PA and graduated from Radnor High School and Bryant College. An avid tennis player, he played tennis and soccer in college.
For most of his adult life he lived in Bermuda, where he and his wife Maxine owned and operated Mermaid Beach. In later years he was a realter in Bermuda. Brian was a member of Chaine des Rotisseurs and the Bermuda Hotel Association.
He loved swimming and snorkeling in Bermuda.
In addition to his wife, Brian is survived by his son Shimon, his sister Judy McPhillips, and many family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Maxim A. Alkon.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Graveside Service Friday, May 5, 2023, at 1:00 pm Haym Salomon Memorial Park, 200 Moores Road, Malvern PA 19355.
