Betsy L. Giesecke

Betsy L. Giesecke, 64 of Downingtown, PA passed away Tuesday September 1, 2020 at her residence.

She was the wife of Daniel S. Giesecke.

Born March 22, 1956 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late William R. Blackway and the late Elsie (Betty) Cregar Blackway.

Betsy was the adventurous spirit, the compassionate giver, the lover of the wonders in life, wife, mother, grandmother, professional, businesswoman, homemaker, the one with a heart large enough to include so many. She took it all on with grace, quiet determination, and love. Most importantly she was a disciple of our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ. Betsy has impacted the world with her gentle but principled spirit and has left her “mark”.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Laura & Lyn, Sister Barb (Lundberg), brother, Bruce Blackway, three grandchildren, Gavin, Natalie, & Juneau, and two nephews and one niece who were like her own children.

An outdoor memorial service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, October 10th at The Church of the Good Samaritan located at 212 W. Lancaster Ave. Paoli, PA 19301.

In keeping with Betsy's favorite fashion style please come casual.  
             
Bringing your own lawn chairs would be a help. The service will be moved indoors if the weather is inclement.
             
Due to covid restrictions there will be no reception.
