Barbara Louise Wroten

Barbara Louise Wroten, 79 of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.  She was the wife of the late Edward Virgil Wroten.

Barbara was born on January 29, 1947, in Coatesville, PA.  She was the daughter of the late Graydon and Mildred Whitney.  She was the oldest of four children and was a beloved sister to Brenda Evans, Becky Michelfelder and Belinda Broneske.

Barbara grew up in West Chester and graduated from Downingtown High School in 1964.  She dedicated her life to her family and was actively involved in all aspects of her children’s lives from school to sporting activities.  Her fondest memories were of those days that she spent with her family in Rehobeth Beach, DE.

Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, Michele Wroten Koenig (Richard), Joseph Wroten (Michelle), Terri Wroten, Aimee Wroten, Barb Froelich (Rick), Edward S. Wroten (Carol), Linda Diloreto (Chip), Eric Wroten (Luisa), Thomas Wroten (Denise) and a host of many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son Brian K. Wroten.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 am

Interment will be private.
