Barbara A. Lemon

Barbara A. Lemon, of West Chester, PA passed away Saturday March 29, 2025 at the Watermark at Bellingham in West Chester.

Born September 10, whatever 29 years ago was, in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late John Lemon and the late Julia Forrest Lemon.

Barbara grew up in Folsom, PA, and graduated from Notre Dame Academy de Namur. She then earned her bachelor’s in education from West Chester University, followed by a master’s degree in counseling from Villanova University.

Barbara dedicated many years to working as a Special Education Teacher, where she touched countless lives with her compassion and patience. In addition to her teaching career, she was involved in family counseling and worked at Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, bringing warmth and joy to those around her.

Barbara was a devoted Elder at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church of West Chester, where her faith and leadership were an inspiration to many. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sharing her love of faith and kindness with everyone she met……

She is survived by her daughter, Cheyenne Kelly, her dear friend, Deborah Bonder, and sisters, Cindy Novoshielski and Joan Maurer.

Services and Interment will be private.
