Barbara Anne Durnall

Barbara A. Durnall of West Chester passed away peacefully with family by her side on June 23rd, 2025, at 85 years of age.

She was the daughter of the late Milton W. Durnall and the late Ruth B. Durnall (Hoopes).

Barbara was a graduate of Downingtown High School and Ursinus College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and later taught English at McKean High School in Wilmington, DE.

Upon retirement, Barbara would always happily oblige the request of her nieces and nephews to proofread their schoolwork and/or professional writing. Barbara had a generous heart and enjoyed spoiling and spending time with all her family. She was also blessed to enjoy many lifelong friendships and was involved in a book club and a bridge club. She loved the beach, reading, watching football, hanging out with friends and family, and an occasional trip to the casino to play her favorite slot machines.

The family will enjoy a private Life Celebration.
