Ann R. Tompkins

Ann Tompkins, age 96 of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on August 18, 2026.

She was wife of the late Levis Tompkins for 53 years before he passed in 2011.

Born April 29, 1930, in Uniontown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Povlovcak) and Michael Nahaj. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Margaret Goncus and Loretta Miller and brother Michael Nahaj, Jr. 

Ann is survived by her daughter Diane Tompkins of West Chester, PA. She is also survived by her sister Mary Matyas (Dave), brother Eugene Nahaj (Gloria), and many nieces and nephews.

She was employed at Denney-Reyburn Company for over three decades as a press operator and subsequently worked at QVC in its jewelry packing department.

Ann enjoyed going shopping at Boscov’s in particular with her dear friend Peg McGinley. She loved spending time with family and friends playing board games or cards.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 10-10:45am at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com followed by her Funeral Service at 11am. The graveside service will be at 12pm at the St. Agnes Cemetery in West Chester, PA.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association are welcome.
