Ann Sinclair, 85 of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully on the morning of Friday May 23, 2025 in East Bradford Township surrounded by family.
She was the wife of the late Robert Sinclair of Glasgow, Scotland.
Born October 26, 1939 in Lisburn, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Leo Craig and the late Mary (nee Jordan) Craig.
Ann immigrated to the United States of America and was proud to become a U.S. citizen. She met her husband Bob at the Irish dance hall in Upper Darby. She was employed as an operations supervisor for many years at First Pennsylvania Bank in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania while raising her six children.
Ann was a devout Catholic with an unwavering faith in God. She believed in the power of prayer, which shaped every aspect of her life. Ann enjoyed gardening, antiquing, and adopting and caring for stray animals including many cats and dogs. She is fondly remembered for her love of chocolate bars and for making the best sandwiches! Ann’s legacy is one of compassion, faith and love.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Christina) Sinclair, son, Leo Sinclair, son, Stephen Sinclair, daughter, Moira (James) Delor, daughter, Paula Sinclair, son, Brian Sinclair; grandchildren, Sarah, Emily, Elizabeth and Liam; brothers, Sean Craig, Malachy Craig, and Francis Craig. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Sinclair; her sister, Mary Olivia Murphy; daughter-in-law, Ellen (nee Nofer) Sinclair
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Monday, June 2, 2025 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
Interment will be in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery Springfield, PA.
