Thelma Mae Clark,90 widow of the late Thomas Richard Clark Sr. passed away on September 1,2018 at the Neighborhood Care Hospice in West Chester ,Pa . after a lengthy illness.

Born December 31,1927 in West Chester Pa., she was the daughter of the late Lacey D. Melton Jr. and Violet Derry Melton.

Mrs. Clark attended school in the West Chester Area Public Schools. 

Ms. Thelma enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and collecting various items that interested her. She was known throughout her family for having a green thumb when it came to reviving house plants on their last limb.

She was devoted to her family. Mrs. Clark is survived by her children Tony Melton of West Chester, Patricia Thompson of West Chester, Frank Clark of Chicago, ILL ., Jane Goines of Deleware , Kathy Butler of Fayetteville,Pa. Judith Flamer (David) of Kennett Square, Mark Clark of West Chester, Dyanna London (Sam) of Parksburg. In addition to her children and grandchildren she is survived by a host of nephews ,nieces ,and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her sons Richard C. Clark of West Chester, Pa., Peter Clark of West Chester , Pa., and a daughter Isabell Matthews of West Chester.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Lawerence Melton, Stanford Melton, Arnold Melton, Sr .,Carlton Melton and sister Eunice Gallimore.
