Sylvia Shur

Sylvia Shur, 97 of West Chester, PA died Friday February 9, 2018 at the Chester County Hospital in West Chester.

She was the wife of the late Albert Shur.

Born July 28, 1920 in Norristown, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph Krauss and the late Anna Weinburg Krauss.

She was a member of the Kesher Israel Congregation and co-owner of the WCHE Radio Station in West Chester. She loved being around people and enjoyed painting. 

She is survived by her son, Jay Shur of West Chester, PA

She was preceded in death by her son David Shur and  siblings, Gladys Katz, Herbert Krauss, and Sidney Krauss. 

Relatives and Friends are invited to her Funeral Service 10:30 am on Sunday February 11, 2018 at the Mt. Sharon Cemetery Chapel 502 East Springfield Road, Springfield PA 

Shiva will be observed 6pm on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 631 N. Matlack St. West Chester, PA
