Scott Smith

Thomas “Scott” Smith, 51, of East Fallowfield, passed away at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester on October 17, 2018 with his family at his side.  Scott is survived by his wife Rebecca, sons Robert Jarrett and Owen Harrison, and his sisters, Kristie Weaver (Mike) and Wendy Levan (Rob).

Scott graduated from Henderson High School, West Chester University and Delaware State Police Academy.  Scott worked as a police officer for West Chester University, West Pikeland Township and then went on to spend most of his career with the Newark Police Department in Delaware where he retired in 2015 as a Corporal.  He worked in the Traffic Division and in Accident Reconstruction.  

Scott enjoyed sports, spending time with friends and most importantly his family.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Monday October 22, 2018 from 5-8 pm at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 N. Church St. West Chester 610-696-1181 www.DellaFH.com with a service to follow at 8 PM.
