Samuel Warren Rump

Samuel Warren Rump, 60 of West Chester, PA passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit in West Chester, PA.

Born July 23, 1957 in West Chester, PA he was the son of the late Ellis S. Rump, Jr. and the late Anne Hynson Rump.

Sam worked at Manito Abstract in West Chester, PA for over 25 years.

He enjoyed playing golf as well as being with his friends at Ryan's Pub.

Sam's greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.

He is survived by his daughter, Adelaide H. Rockwell (Jeffrey) and their daughter Gracelynn of all of State College, PA; son, Mason P. Rump of West Chester, PA; sister, Nancy G. Geryk (Scott) of Philadelphia, PA; sister, Cynthia M. Kelsey (Michael) both of Wilmington, DE and their daughters Anne and Ellie both of Arlington, VA; brother, James M. Rump of West Chester, PA; cousin, Anne W. Scott (Wade) and their sons Chardy and Read all of Wilmington, DE.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10:00 am at Church of the Holy Trinity, 212 S. High St. West Chester PA.  

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Chester County Hospital Foundation, 701 E. Marshall St., West Chester, PA 19380.
