Paul H. Thim, 71 of Exton, PA formerly of Los Angeles CA, died Friday July 27, 2018 at the Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville.
Born December 5, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late George Thim and the late Ella Tomol Thim.
Paul had worked for Anthem Blue Cross as a claims representative. Before he relocated to California, Paul was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School in Norristown, LaSalle University with a BA in Economics and did graduate studies at Temple University. He served in the US Airforce, stationed in Japan, during the Vietnam War. Paul later worked at the Philadelphia Department of Public Welfare Board of Assistance before moving to California.
Paul was an accomplished pianist and a knowledgeable lover of classical music.
He is survived by his brother in law, Elwood "Woody" Gotshall of West Chester, PA, cousins and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marguerite "Marge” Gotshall.
Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 10-11 am at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 East Pleasant Grove Rd West Chester, PA 19382; followed by his Funeral Mass at 11am.
Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery West Chester PA.
