Nora Raynor

Nora Raynor, 96, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017, at Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Royersford, PA.

Nora was born in Devon, England, and came to the United States as a GI Bride after World War II in 1946.  Her husband was serving

with the United States Navy Seabees.

Before coming to the United States, during World War II, Nora was employed as an inspector in an airplane factory.

After her four children were all in school, Nora began her employment with the Methodist Country House in Wilmington,  Delaware as a hostess for thirty years.

Nora and her late husband, James Raynor, resided at Longwood Gardens for over thirty years before later moving to West Grove, PA.

Nora was preceded in death by her husband and three sons.She is survived by her daughter and three grandchildren.

A special thanks to the nurses and staff at Parkhouse Nursing Home.

Funeral services and interment will be private.
