In Loving Memory of Mary Frances Glasco

Sunrise - November 13, 1929 ~Sunset - January 4, 2019

Mary Frances "Bobba" Glasco, was born on November 13, 1929 to the late Maria Jane Flowers and William L. Glasco in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  She passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Bellingham Nursing Home in West Chester, PA.

"Bobba" as she was affectionately called by family and friends was a loving, very quiet, funny and private person.  She was a graduate of the West Chester Joint Senior High School.  She worked as a lab inspector at Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories for over 30 years.  She was a dedicated and loyal employee from June 1965 up until her retirement in January of 1995.

She loved spending time with her friends playing cards, going shopping and to the diner together.  She also enjoyed reading and knitting.  Most importantly she loved animals, especially cats.  When she lived on Miner Street she was also known affectionately as 'Cat Woman".  She had many cats over the years that she had raised and loved, but her baby, her love, was her cat named "Boy Cat", whom she had with her for over 17 years before he had passed.  Her cats were her children whom she loved and cared for dearly.

Those of us left to cherish the many memories of Bobba are her beloved younger brother, Donald C. Glasco (Paulette) of Landsdown, PA, her nieces Traci M. Coles of West Chester, PA and Jennifer Glasco Mathis of Coatesville, PA, and nephew Theodore H. Butcher III (Jenna) of Lancaster, PA, who lovingly assisted with her care during her illness.  She is also survived by a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Bobba was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas E. Glasco, and Allen Glasco, Sr. and sisters, Barbara A. Coles and Sarah R. Malone.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation from 10-11am on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc, 410 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181,;  followed by her Memorial Service at 11am.

Interment will be held in Rolling Green Memorial Park in West Chester.
