Marie R. Schneck

Marie R. Schneck of Chester County.

Marie R. Schneck, 90 of Chester County, PA, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Reading Hospital in West Reading.

She was the wife of the late James C. Schneck, Sr. with whom she married in 1950.

Born March 8, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles DiCampli and the late Antoinette Verna DiCampli.

Marie was a 1946 graduate of Overbrook High School in Philadelphia, PA.

Marie retired in 1999 as the Lighting Showroom Manager for Schneck Electric Supply in Reading.

She was a longtime resident of Hershey’s Mill in West Chester, PA.  Marie earned the rank of a Bridge Life Master and was also a member of the Hershey’s Mill Bridge Club.

Marie is survived by her children, James C. Schneck, Jr., Mark S. Schneck (Diane) and Gregory P. Schneck (Karen); grandchildren, Pamela, Mark, Jr., Eric, Gregory, Jr., and Victoria; great grandchildren, Lars and Soren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Beatrice Portare and brother, Albert DiCampli.  

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation from 7-9pm on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com and from 10-11am on Friday, July 27^th at SS. Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct. West Chester, PA 19382; followed by her Funeral Mass at 11am.

Entombment will be held in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
