Marie Gannotti

Marie Gannotti, 90 of Downingtown, PA died Tuesday July 10, 2018 at St. Martha Manor in Downingtown.

She was the wife of the late Valentino Gannotti.

Born June 29, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Maggitti and the late Mary Gioiella Maggitti.

Marie was a homemaker, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  From Sunday gravy to goodie bags, the best sausage stuffing on Thanksgiving and cookouts by the pool, Marie took every opportunity to host her beloved family.  She was proud of her extended family and all their accomplishments.  In recent years, she enjoyed her many new friendships formed at St. Martha’s.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Daltry and her husband David of Garnet Valley, PA, Valerie Palmieri and her husband Jerome of Plymouth Meeting, PA, Regina Cirio and her husband Tony of Annapolis, MD, Mimi Colaprete and her husband John of Downingtown, PA and son-in-law Bruce Theis of West Chester, PA. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a brother, Frank Maggitti of CA, and sister, Adeline Scattergood of FL.

She was predeceased by daughter, Carol Theis, brothers Alex Maggitti and Larry Maggitti, and sister Millie Sharrah.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at St. Joseph Church, 460 Manor Ave. Downingtown, PA 19335; followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00. Interment will be held in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery & Garden Mausoleum Springfield PA.
