Lois J. Glisson

Lois J. Glisson of West Chester

Lois passed away at home on June 25, 2017 from complications of Type I Diabetes.

She was born on May 24, 1934, daughter of Samuel Watson Johnson and beloved granddaughter of Mary Watson Johnson.

She was the wife of the late Earl W. Glisson since March 1953.

Lois was cared for in her later years by her son, Scott A. Glisson and is also survived by Jeffrey Glisson and Susan Hunter of West Chester.  She is also survived by grandchildren Monica Glisson of Williamstown, NJ, and Jason and Kelsey Hunter of West Chester. 

Lois lived all her life in West Chester and graduated from Henderson High School class of 1952.  

She worked for a number of local business, including Wyeth Laboratories. 

She was a Type I Diabetic since the age of 25, and would like donations to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 225 City Line Ave. Suite 104, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
