John F. Wineburg, 70 of West Chester, PA died suddenly on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA.
He was the devoted husband of Maryrose Wetzel Wineburg for 47 years.
Born August 13, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late John F. Wineburg and the late Doris Houser Wineburg.
John graduated from Roxborough High School, Class of 1965.
He decided to enlist and was a proud US Navy veteran, Petty Officer Third Class.
After his service to the country, John acquired an Associate Degree from Bucks County Community College. Most of his career was spent as a construction superintendent. He retired as a Regional Director at StoneMor Partners.
John had a deep faith and was an active member in all the congregations he was a part of over the years, and was most recently a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church, West Chester, PA.
He enjoyed music, singing, ballroom dancing and storytelling, but most of all, spending time with his eight grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three sons, John (Cashia), Thomas (Kate), and Michael (Cara); his siblings Thomas (Marissa), Sally and Susan Smith. “Pop” will be greatly missed by all his grandchildren: Emily, Jack, Tyler, Kiera, Cole, Molly, Ryan and Connor.

Interment will be private.
