John Edward Friel

John Edward Friel, 91 of Malvern, PA died Thursday, November 23, 2017 at  Southeastern Veterans Center in Spring City.

He was the husband of the late Helen Ann Falasco Friel.

Born December 9, 1925 in Cedar Hollow, PA, he was the son of the late John Friel and the late Elizabeth Selfinger Friel.

John served in the United States Army during WWII. He worked as a Plant Engineer for Foote Mineral Company until his retirement in 1985. 

He is survived by his loving nieces and nephews, brother-in-law, Jules (Rita) Falasco, sister-in law, Joanne Hunsicker and brother-in-law, Eugene Falasco.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Friel, brother-in-law, Rudolph Falasco, sister-in law, Eleanor Falasco, sister-in law, Caroline Shesko, father-in-law, Ernest Falasco and mother-in-law, Vera Falasco.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at St. Patrick Church, 104 Channing Ave., Malvern, PA 19355; followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.

Entombment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester, PA.
