John James Falcone, Sr. of West Chester.
John James Falcone, Sr., 92, of West Chester, PA died Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Brandywine Hall Care Center in West Chester.
He was the husband of the late Lorraine A. (Wolhar) Falcone.
Born January 18, 1926 in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Frank Falcone and the late Ida (Hoover) Falcone.
John served in the U.S. Army as a Medic in the Pacific theater during WWII. After his honorable discharge, he studied metal finishing and worked as a Metal Finisher for various companies during his career.
He is survived by his sons, John J. Falcone, Jr. (Diane), Ronald C. Falcone (Mary Beth), daughter-in-law Carol Falcone, grandsons Keith Falcone (Kristen), Andrew Falcone (Kristen) and Kevin Falcone (Jacqueline), granddaughter Alyson Falcone Taylor (Gregory), and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Frank Falcone (Edna).
In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his son Kenneth Falcone, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitations on Sunday, May 6, 2018, from 6 - 8pm at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com, and on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 8:30- 9:30am at the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10am at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380.
Entombment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester, PA.
