Jean Grentz of Malvern.

Jean Grentz, 89 of Malvern, PA, died Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Arbour Square in West Chester.

She was the wife of the late Karl J. Grentz Sr.

Born August 31, 1929 in Mahanoy City, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Curry and the late Dorothy Purcell Curry.

Jean was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church in West Chester. 

She is survived by her children, Karl Grentz Jr. (Theresa), Alan Grentz (Barbara) and Karen Schmied (Bill); 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. 

Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitation on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 9:30-10:30 am at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 1325 E. Boot Rd. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30am.   

Interment will be held in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brandywine Valley SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380.
