Heartfelt Condolences to the Carey family on Mom's passing. Mrs. Carey "AKA Mrs. White Elephant" because she was in charge of the Parish White Eelephant sale for as long as I can remember was one of those Sharon Hill Mom's that was always there for one of the Sharon Hill kids who needed a band aid or a hug or a drink on a hot day..I'm certain Helen joined the rest of the Sharon Hill Parents who will continue to look out for us.from her place in heaven. I suspect at St. Peter's next White Elephant sale, Mom Carey will be the one in charge. Sincerely, Bob Mayrides

Dear Members of the Carey Family. We share your grief at the loss of you Mother, Helen. Our own mother, Caroline Mayrides and she were excellent friends for many decades while we lived in Sharon Hill. I recall the many times they were together working on some project for the Parish, in fact, it almost seemed as if they were sisters. Often my Mom would say, " I wonder how we will manage that, so I will ask Helen for her opinion". They spent much time together, kindred souls and friends of everyone in the Parish. Our Caroline would have been 98 the day after your dear Helen passed away and our father Maurice spent many of his years active in the Parish but is remembered for being the basketball coach. He would have been 97 this year and I am certain that both Caroline and he were waiting inside the gates for their friend and sister, Helen. My special regards to Peggy from our grade school days. Sincerely, Jim Mayrides on behalf of the Mayrides clan.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Nanny, I still felt like I knew her through the many funny stories I heard. Mrs. Hoffman and Donna and families, you have my deepest sympathies for your great loss. I know how much you will miss your mother and Nanny. Love and hugs, Rita and Dan
