Grace M. (nee Camerer) Miles

Grace M. Miles (nee Camerer) of Downingtown

 Grace M. Miles (nee Camerer), age 93, formerly of Garden City, NY, passed away on June 5, 2018 at St. Martha Manor, Downingtown, PA. 

Grace is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Thomas V. Miles, M.D.; two sons, Dennis G. Miles and Joseph G. Miles; and son-in-law, John E. Baldino. She is survived by her cherished children and grandchildren: Deirdre Miles-Graeter and her daughter Amanda of New York, NY; Thomas Miles Jr. of Oyster Bay, NY; Grace Miles of Menlo Park, CA; Mary Jo Miles Baldino and children, Laurel, Kate, and David of West Chester, PA. 

Born July 29, 1924 in Queens, NY, daughter of George and Ida Camerer. Grace was a registered nurse, graduating from St. Catherine Hospital School of Nursing, Brooklyn, NY in 1945. After marriage she moved to Garden City to raise a family and make a home for the next 54 years. She worked as a nurse in various settings throughout her life retiring at the age of 75. 

Grace’s greatest passion was her family and friends. She had a charming personality and loved to be in the company of others.  Those who knew her were appreciative of and comforted by her energy, spirit and heart.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation from 9:00 to10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at St. Agnes Church, 233 West Gay St., West Chester, PA 19380.  Funeral Mass will follow at 10 A.M.
