Frank A. Balsamello, 89, of West Chester, formerly of Brooklyn, NY and Old Bridge, NJ, died Friday, June 28, 2019 at his home.
He was the beloved husband of Nancy Foshay Balsamello.
Born June 14, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Angelo Balsamello and the late Mary Detta Balsamello.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Frank loved baseball and the New York Yankees, as well as Georgetown Hoyas basketball. He enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City and spending time with his family. He loved singing, especially “Daddy’s Little Girl” and “Oh What a Beautiful Morning.”
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Janice Agro and her husband Joseph, Frank J. Balsamello and his wife Emily, Angela Golebiewski and her husband Kevin. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Anthony, Gina, Eleanor, and Mason; his great-grandchildren, Elliana, Phillip, and Michelina; and his beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Vincent Balsamello, and sister, Eleanor Brigante and her husband Frank.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 9:30 am - 10:00 am at Queen of All Saints Church, 300 Vanderbilt Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11205; followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 am.
Interment will be held in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn NY 718-768-7300.
