Frank J. Williams

Frank J. Williams, 70 of West Chester, PA, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at home with family by his side.

He was the husband of Sandra Welch Williams.

Born March 2, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Frank C. Williams and the late Althea Zimmerman Williams.

Frank was a 1966 graduate of Haverford High School where he was President of his Senior Class and excelled in baseball. He went on to graduate from Penn State University in 1971 and continued his education at Villanova University School of Law where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 1974.

Frank was an Assistant District Attorney in Chester County before beginning his own law firm, O’Donnell, Hagner and Williams LLC, where he practiced for over 30 years. He was also a member of the Chester County Bar Association.

Frank enjoyed watching and attending all sports but especially his beloved Penn State football and Villanova basketball teams. He also loved a round of golf accompanied by a good cigar or an annual fishing trip with his friends. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, his beloved dogs and any time spent on a beach, especially when vacationing in St. Martin.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Brett T. Williams, Kyle J. Williams, Stephanie Gratz and Katy Doroshow; 5 Grandchildren, and his sister, Wendy W. Miller.

Relatives and friends are invited to a brief visitation starting at 11:30am followed by his Memorial Service at 12:00 noon on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 730 S. New St., West Chester, PA 19382.

Interment will be private.
