Frances K. “Frances Jane” Wark

Frances K. “Frances Jane” Wark, 74 of West Chester, PA (formally of Pheasant Run in Westtown, PA), passed away on Tuesday May 1, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of the late James V. Wark, Sr. whom she shared 52 years of marriage upon his passing in 2015.

Born July 26, 1943 in Bryn Mawr, PA she was the daughter of the late Francis J. Kehoe and the late Alice Kauffman Kehoe.

Frances was a graduate of Villa Maria Academy High School in Malvern, PA  and attended Marjorie Webster College in Washington, DC.

She was a devoted homemaker and mother.

Frances was a parishioner of St. Agnes Church, West Chester, PA. She enjoyed boating and traveling and was a past member of North East River Yacht Club, North East, MD. She treasured her memories of years spent on the Chesapeake Bay with her children and the many friendships that she made along the way.  She had a great love for her dogs (Muffy and Pebbles).  She was incredibly proud of her grandchildren who brought her the greatest joy.

She is survived by her son, James V. Wark (Karen Ferrara) of Berwyn, PA; daughter, Jane C. Wark of Exton, PA; granddaughters, Kate Wark (Jack) of Glenmoore, PA and Molly Carlock (Evan) of West Chester and their mother, Marcia VanTassel of Exton; grandson, Douglas Brice (Kate) of  North Wales, PA and his father Martin Brice of West Chester, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 610-696-1181; www.DellaFH.com

Interment will be private.
