Erin L. Kemena

Erin L. Kemena, 65 of Honey Brook, PA and formerly of West Chester, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 9, 2019.

Erin is predeceased by his mother, Joyce McDonald and adoptive mother, Marion Kemena.

He is lovingly survived by his two sons, Reid Kemena and his fiancé Danielle Skinner; Timothy E. Kemena and his partner Taya Kobrynich; his boxer dog and best pal, Rexie; his partner Lori Bahr; sister, Chrissy; and brothers, John & Kerry.

Erin was born in Imler, Pennsylvania on September 5, 1953. He graduated from Gateway High School in 1971 and then went on to earn a bachelor's degree in History from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1976. Erin started his own successful business, Imler Filtration and Equipment, Inc. in 1988 and never looked back, which went on to become his prideful career in life.

Erin enjoyed spending time taking Rexie and his son's dogs: Charlie, Harvey, Moon, Maddie, and Gus out to play. He also enjoyed doing yoga, skiing, surfing, and of course being a Dad. Erin loved books and spent most nights learning something new, his constant quest for knowledge never faded. Erin was always learning and growing, determined to make a positive mark. Through struggles he persevered, and became a better stronger person. Erin was a dedicated father, whose life was devoted to his boys and their future.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street,  West Chester, PA 19380; followed by his Funeral Service  at 11:00 am January 14, 2019 410 North Church Street,  West Chester, PA 19380. Afterward, a luncheon reception will take place at Teca Restaurant, 38 East Gay Street in West Chester from 12-3 pm.
