Eleanore C. Sloan Obituary

Eleanore C. Sloan of West Chester died Monday, October 8, 2018 at home after a long battle with cancer.

Beloved and devoted wife of Stanley G. Sloan, Eleanore was the daughter of the late Frank W. Grzywacz and the late Catherine Zugay Grzywacz. She was a kindergarten teacher in Philadelphia for many years, loved reading, following current events and traveling.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four brothers, Frank (Joanne), Ed (Janice), Ron (Lisa), and Ken (Patty) Grzywacz, her sister Irene Ressler, and brother and sister-in-law Alan and Joan Sloan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 10 am - 11 am at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc, 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380; www.DellaFH.com followed by a memorial service at 11am. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation 125 S. 9th St. Suite 202 Philadelphia, PA 19107.
