Dama E. McCurdy

Dama McCurdy, 90, of Downingtown, PA, died peacefully at home early Wednesday, July 12, 2017. She was born in Louisville, KY, on July 11, 1927.  At 17, Dama married the love of her life, the late Clarence McCurdy. 

During her life, Dama wore many hats well — wife, mom, homemaker, artist, Christian education director, bank manager, pension account manager, and grandmother extraordinaire. Her faith in Jesus was unwavering and He held her close and took her home.

Dama is survived by her daughter Connie Swanson (John) of Gainesville, VA, and daughter Denise Delpino (Del) of West Chester, PA. She is also survived by grandchildren: Laura, Vanessa, Allison, Amelia, Mason and Aiden and great-granddaughter Ella.

Interment will be in Oaklands Cemetery, West Chester.
