Catherine Elizabeth “Betty” Pennepacker of West Chester.

Catherine Elizabeth “Betty” Pennepacker, 93 of West Chester, PA, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Pocopson Home in West Chester.

Born February 17, 1924 in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Warren Mattes and the late Bertha May Foster Mattes.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Pennepacker of West Chester, PA; Sister-in law, Fran Mattes of Ohio; 2 nephews Andy Mattes of Florida and Brock Mattes of Ohio; and close family, Dr. Russel and Irene Rickert of West Chester, PA.  Also, she is survived by many loving family and friends.

Betty had worked as a Clerk in the accounting office at Pocopson Home for 16 years prior to her retirement. She also, worked at the Wentworth Home in West Chester for 20 years.

Betty was a former President and Member of the Business and Professional Women, West Chester Chapter.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her Graveside Service 11:00 am Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Pocopson Home Chapel, 1695 Lenape Road, West Chester, PA 19382.
