Betty Jean Hutton

Betty J. Hutton (Twaddell), 92 of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving children on Wednesday May 1, 2019 at her residence in West Chester.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Robert (Bob) G. Hutton.

Born November 4, 1926 in Wilmington, DE she was the daughter of the late John H. Twaddell and the late Elizabeth Drew Twaddell.

Betty’s greatest legacy and joy undoubtedly was her family.  During her long-term residency in Berlin, MD, she established many beautiful friendships and enjoyed participating in many community activities including: church, bible study, book club, Red Hats and Questor.

She is survived by her son, Robert G. Hutton, II and his wife, Angela, and her daughters, Karyl Fitzgerald, Robin Shubra and her husband, Ron, and Holly Izzi; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother, John H. Twaddell and his wife, Delores, and her sister, Bonnie Harrigan, both of Delaware.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Main Line Health Hospice for their excellent care and special kindness.

Services and interment will be private.
