Anthony V. Contrisciano, 81, of West Chester, PA passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 with his beloved daughter Lauren by his side.
Born February 4, 1937 in Phila., PA he was the son of the late Louis Contrisciano and Antoinette Iorillo Contrisciano.
Anthony attended Overbrook High School in Philadelphia, PA.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Anthony received his Cosmetology Degree in 1965 and opened his first shop in Berwyn, PA.
He then moved to West Chester, PA. Shortly thereafter, he opened a shop at his house in 1970.
Anthony was an antique car buff. He enjoyed collecting model trains, riding motorcycles, horse racing and growing roses.
He loved animals, especially his dogs, cats, and horses.
Anthony's greatest joy in life was watching his daughter Lauren compete with her horses.
He is survived by his daughter, Lauren A. Linder of West Chester, PA along with her mother, Susan L. Linder of Glenmoore, PA, and brother, Robert Contrisciano of Upper Darby, PA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Domenic "Sonny" Contrisciano and Louis Contrisciano.
A “Celebration of His Life” will be held in September.
