Albert E. "Butch" Pizzi of West Chester, PA passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018 at Chester County Hospital, West Chester, PA.
He was the husband of the late Amelia "Dolly" Pizzi, celebrating 65 years of marriage Valentine’s Day of this year.
Born October 31, 1929 in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Ercole and Clara Testone Pizzi of West Chester.
Butch attended West Chester High School and enlisted in the Army, being stationed in post-war Europe. He took over his late father's shoe repair shop in the early sixties until he closed in 1972 to begin a 19-year position with National Foam until retirement.
Butch loved gardening, had many dogs of various breeds, was a trophy winning homing pigeon racer, and rode a horse like he was born and raised a cowboy. He had a great group of friends growing up in West Chester at a great time.
He is survived by his daughters Christine A. Pizzi of Parkesburg, PA and Lisa A. Pizzi of Malvern, PA; also, granddaughters Kimber Johnson (Mike) of Tulsa, OK, Stephanie and Mallory Zercher of Parkesburg, PA, grandsons Brad Hoxter of West Chester and Nick Hoxter of Malvern. Great grandchildren Thomas, Samir and Amelia Lacey of Parkesburg, brother Elmer Pizzi of Paoli and sister Evelyn Trump of West Chester.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brother Anthony Pizzi and sister Helen Waldron.

Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester.
