William “Bill” Everett Hughes, Sr.

William "Bill" Everett Hughes Sr. of West Chester, age 83, passed away on November 22, 2016 after a long illness.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, M. Patricia, 5 children William Jr., John “Jack”, Pamela, Patricia, and Christopher; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Bill was well a known member of the West Chester community. He was a member of the Lions Club for over 35 years, served as a Member of the Board of Trustees for West Chester University, and retired as Senior Vice President of First National Bank of West Chester.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 10-11am at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd. West Chester, PA 19380; Followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.

Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Barclay Friends, 700 N. Walnut St. West Chester, PA 19380 and/or American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St. Attention Memorials, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
